ABOUT ME

BEHIND THE LENS

I am a local and national award winning photographer. I studied at the University of North Florida where I majored in Communications and minored in photography.

I received my Bachelors in 1994.

I worked as an intern with Methodist Medical Center where I did work that was published locally and nationally. In 1994, I received the award for best single photograph in the United States for EmplyMed. A division of Methodist Medical Center.

While working to show my art in several venues, I placed my work in galleries such as, Reddi Arts,

The Karpeles Museum and the Riverside Arts Festival. At the Riverside Arts Festival, I won the award for best photographer for that annual event.

My work has been sold as prints as well as promoted on clothing at a few prominant shops around Jacksonville.

Currently, I am starting up my photography as a new career to begin in January of 2014. I am availble for bookings as an art photographer, landscape photographer, modeling portfolios, family and animal portraits as well as weddings. You can contact me at (904) 803-5505 jimmy_shover@yahoo.com.
